(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 28, 2009) In a week 16 Browns Backers League 1 intra-divisional matchup, *Asia Gray's Ginsu squeaked by a tough Butt Head team by a score of 142.25 to 130.65, behind the support of 67,727 faithful fans. With their 142.25 points, *Asia Gray's Ginsu is now the proud record-holder of the 24th-highest weekly point total in league history.
*Asia Gray's Ginsu were led to their 11.60 point victory by a 30.65 point effort from Jay Cutler, who got by the Minnesota Vikings defense for 273 passing yards and 4 passing TDs in addition to 10 rushing yards. With this performance, Cutler was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 23.90 point effort from Chris Johnson, who beat the San Diego Chargers defense for 142 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 37 receiving yards. "It hasn't sunk in yet," *Asia Gray's Ginsu coach Matt Mitchell said. Butt Head were helped out in a losing cause by a 29.75 point effort from Tom Brady, who got by the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 267 passing yards and 4 passing TDs in addition to 4 rushing yards. With this performance, Brady was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 25.70 point effort from Adrian Peterson, who got by the Chicago Bears defense for 94 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 43 receiving yards. "We didn't match their intensity," Butt Head coach Willie Long said. Butt Head drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 9 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 16. This brings the record for *Asia Gray's Ginsu to 13-2, and drops Butt Head to a record of 10-6. | ||
