G-Force (105.93) at Boomtown Rats (106.39)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Nov 16, 2009) In a week 10 UFFL VI intra-divisional rivalry, Boomtown Rats squeaked by a tough G-Force team by a score of 106.39 to 105.93, extending the losing streak for G-Force to 3 games.

David Garrard

Boomtown Rats were led to their 0.46 point victory by a 17.24 point effort from David Garrard, who got by the New York Jets defense for 221 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 11 rushing yards. They also got help from a 15.32 point effort from Ray Rice, who got by the Cleveland Browns defense for 89 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 15 receiving yards.

"We finally got the monkey off our backs," Boomtown Rats coach Mark McDaniel said.

G-Force were helped out in a losing cause by a 18.56 point effort from Jonathan Stewart, who got by the Atlanta Falcons defense for 82 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs. They also got help from a 17.07 point effort from Steve Smith, who snuck past the Atlanta Falcons defense for 34 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.

"They out-coached us," G-Force coach Dave Torreano said.

Adding salt to the wound, G-Force could have scored 124.13 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Dave Torreano left key players like Jeremy Maclin and his corresponding 14.79 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Boomtown Rats to 14-6, and drops G-Force to a record of 12-10.

Coming up in week 11, G-Force are at the 9-12 fighting albinos, where fighting albinos are an early 3-point favorite, while the 11-9 Bill Me are at Boomtown Rats, where Boomtown Rats are an early 2.9-point favorite, while the 10-11 Gdansk Port Authority are at G-Force, where G-Force are an early 9.2-point favorite, while the 4-17 Orange Iguanas are at Boomtown Rats, where Boomtown Rats are an early 17.3-point favorite.
